Lubricating the Speedometer Cable on a SHO

The Ford Taurus SHO would have a problem where the speedometer needle would become jerky and also make a lot of noise. The problem was that the lubrication in the speedometer cable would dry up and the cable would rub against the cable housing. I never finished a write up, but did take some pictures showing the two parts of the cable and the clip that holds the upper cable in place. After taking the cable apart, liquid graphite is used to lubricate the cable.
